Kuwait's US Treasury holdings climb to record $72.96 billion

Kuwait raised its holdings of US Treasury securities for a third consecutive month to a record $72.96 billion at the end of August 2026. That is a 23.16% annual increase from $59.24 billion in August 2025, according to US Treasury Department data.
