Gulf industrial investment reaches $426 billion
About 22,000 factories employ more than 1.7 million workers
The GCC Statistical Centre says industrial investment in member states stands at about $426 billion, based on the latest data up to July 2026. The investment is spread across some 22,000 factories that employ more than 1.7 million workers. Manufacturing contributed about 13% of the bloc's GDP in 2025, and industrial products account for about 69% of total GCC exports.
