Shamal Az-Zour Al-Oula nine-month profit falls 4.9% to KD 10.83 million

Shamal Az-Zour Al-Oula Power and Water Company reported a net profit of KD 10,829,745 for the nine months ended 30 September 2026, down 4.92% from KD 11,389,975 a year earlier. Earnings per share were unchanged at 10 fils, and operating revenue rose 3.32% to KD 40,451,788 from KD 39,151,568. Third-quarter profit rose 26.43% to KD 4,145,687 from KD 3,278,909. The company said the lower nine-month profit was mainly due to the net impact of higher net operating profit and lower other income and finance costs. The board approved the interim financial statements at its meeting on 29 October 2026.
