HEISCO receives KD 1.92 million purchase order

Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding Co. (HEISCO) has received a purchase order worth KD 1.92 million from the main contractor for Kuwait National Petroleum Company. The work covers the engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning support needed to replace the activator in fluid catalytic cracking (FCC) unit No. 86 at the Mina Al-Ahmadi refinery. The company expects operating profits from the order to be booked in its financial statements from 2026 through 2028, according to Mubasher.
